Salvation is the gift of God to mankind. It is God's grace that declares us righteous before God, not because we have done anything to earn it but only by having faith and believing in the finished work of the cross.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast."
— Ephesians 2:8-9 NKJVWe receive salvation only through Jesus Christ our Lord and personal saviour. When we believe and confess with our mouth that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died for the sins of the whole world and that we have access to the Father through Him.

Turn away from the old man and the old ways. Repent and not live in sin, knowing that you are now righteous before God through Christ Jesus.
"That you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness."

Salvation is not about being perfect — it's about being made new. Are you living in the freedom that salvation brings, or are you still carrying the weight of your old life?
